As I got to Wildorado, I began seeing a decent shelf cloud with the squall line coming in from the west. It wasn't anything to write home about, but it was something. I began driving south out of Wildorado and got about 5 miles south of town. I took a few photos of the leading edge of the storm. After a while, the storm died and I came home. I told ya, not much of a chase, but hey, it's summer and the conveyor belt of NW flow is still hanging in there. Below are photos from the day:
PHOTO #1 MY TRUCK WITH STORMS TO THE NORTH AND WEST
PHOTO #2 BASE OF STORM NW OF AMARILLO, TX
PHOTO #3 LEADING EDGE OF STORMS TAKEN SOUTH OF WILDORADO, TX
PHOTO #4 SAME AS PHOTO #3, ONLY A DIFFERENT ANGLE

Yea, I finally had the chance to get the updates done. Chasing every day doesn't allow for much time to do things. Anyway, glad you enjoyed them.
